A Pure Joy To The Palate
CARMEN VALENTINE Spanish Turrón
It is a delicacy, a pure joy to the palate that has a such rich history: this delicious creation is called Turrón or, in other words, Spanish nougat.
A Spanish delicacy for centuries, Turrón (turrón in Spanish, or torró in Catalan) is made by select confectioners, usually only at Christmas time in Spain. Carmen Valentine has created its version of the Spanish Turrón following the ancient tradition of combining the finest blanched almonds with raw, locally sourced orange blossom honey and whole Madagascan vanilla beans. Simple and natural ingredients, abundantly available in the Mediterranean basin.
